UMA-CNS Open Golf Championship
United marine agencies (UMA), has a strong affiliation with sports especially golf is evident, having the CEO, Mr. Sohail Shams himself as a golf enthusiast. We have played an active role in holding such progressive actions, to upraise Pakistan’s soft image and development in the world. The CNS-Asian tour was held in Karachi in 2018 from 11th-14th October was primarily sponsored by UMA. The championship was graciously organized to match up to the international standards for hosting the international golfers from all over the world. On advent of this appreciable event, the UMA-CEO, Mr. Sohail Shams stated: “It gives us great honor and pleasure to be the title sponsor of the CNS Open Golf Championship. We aim to sensitize the society especially the business community about the benefits of sports and we are thrilled to be able to do it via one of Pakistan’s most important golf tournaments.”
The UMA-CNS Open, hosted international golf professionals from Austria, Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, Indonesia, Korea, Philippines, Spain, South Africa, Sweden, Singapore, Thailand, USA and several other countries for the championship. The company has always contributed towards country’s efficacious promotion through sports.
Mr.Sohail Shams, CEO UMA, pronounced, “UMA welcomes our foreign guests, players and Asian Tour officials to Pakistan. It is a momentous occasion for us that international golfers have come to participate in UMA-CNS Open Asian Tour Golf Championship.”
